Item Description
14x22" card stock poster advertising a communist party event in Philadelphia w/Davis as the featured speaker. A large image of the civil right icon w/her arms raised wearing a smile is featured at center. This artifact pre-dates Davis' vice-presidential nomination on the Communist ticket and features at center Gus Hall and Jarvis Tyner on the national ticket and Anthony Monteiro for Congress. Faint moisture mark affecting Davis' right arm can be seen in reflected light otherwise only a 1/8x1" long light brown stain 8" from bottom along the right side that would be invisible if framed. VF. Scarce.
