Item Description
7.5x10.25" hardcover contains issues #66 (Aug. 1942) through #77 (July 1943). Published by Dell Publishing Company. Previously published as "The Funnies," title became "New Funnies" w/issue #65, making first issue in this "Vol. 1" hardcover the second issue of the new title. Characters featured include - Andy Panda, Raggedy Ann & Andy, Felix the Cat, The Brownies (drawn by Walt Kelly in many issues) and more. Of note, Carl Barks art appears in issue #76. Issues have been trimmed and bound but covers/pages remain bright and clean. Pages have just even aging and some scattered lt. edge wear. Fine/VF as bound. Cover has some corner tip wear and aging to spine, but overall, hardcover remains Fine/VF.
