Item Description
14.75" tall overall w/great likeness of Betty Boop w/her tiny dress. A number of different Betty Boop carnival statues were produced in the 1930s, this example's dress has nice gold luster accents to top, belt and beaded detail. Wonderful detail to facial painting. A couple small scattered paint flakes to base and points of dress, but still displays bright and glossy w/original paint job. VF/Exc overall. Obtained (along w/a few others) directly from an old carnival worker who had saved box of carnival statues from his days on the circuit. Among the nicest Betty Boop carnival statues we've seen, and any statue in this choice condition is a rarity. Eric Renner Collection.
