8.25x12x2.5" deep box contains set No. 2004 ©1936. Contains complete amount of "224 Pages Of Pictures To Color." Missing only 3 generic crayons. Attached to center of lid is 5" tall separate die-cut thick cardboard Mickey figure. Text around this reads "Here Comes Mickey Mouse With His Big Big Color Set." Box has scattered obvious wear including much in the way of color rubs, edge wear with 1.5" split along lower left edge. However, all the corners remain tight. Box VG. Separate Mickey figure is VF. Each page is 7.5x11.75" and feature reprinted images from various Whitman publications. Largely comprised of images from Mickey Mouse titles with two picture panels per page. There are also a number of full page Donald Duck illustrations from coloring books. 24 pages have been rather crudely colored. All others remain unused. All pages have lightly tanned but remain clean. VF. A very rare set, only the third we've seen. This is listed in Overstreet at $650 - Good, $1500 - Fine, $3000 - VF to N. Mint.
