Item Description
8.75x11.75x1" deep box contains complete Whitman set No. 2035 ©1940. Box has obvious dust soiling, scattered edge wear including three 1" side panel splits. Lid also has small bit of penciling, crayoning on inside. VG. Each book is 8.5x11.5" marked on cover "A Story Paint Book" along with matching number of "1059." Books are for "Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Gepetto, Figaro and Cleo, Blue Fairy, Foulfellow and Gideon." All have some coloring in crayon, most neatly done. Small number added in crayon to top margin of each cover. Books have light cover aging, scattered edge wear. All remain Fine overall. Scarce boxed set, only the second we've seen.
