Item Description
Lot of three 11x14" heavy stiff cardboard cue cards w/large embossed text that were held up during filming of the Howdy Doody show to elicit reactions from the child audience in the "Peanut Gallery." Used on the show in the 1950s, cards read - "Applause Please, O-O-O-O!" and "Ahhhh!" From the Estate of Buffalo Bob Smith sale held in 2003. One has penciled note regarding RCA plug on reverse and all have a slight corner bump or two but are Exc. overall. Neat pieces of TV history to display.
