Item Description
8.5x11" mimeographed letter dated April 26, 1936 has what appears to have been a hand-drawn example of the logo/seal of "The Tarzan Radio Club." Letter mentions enclosed membership card (included below) and that recipient will soon received now scarce enameled badge and now rare bracelet. Letter was issued by the Columbus Milk Council and logo/seal includes "Drink More Milk" text. Letter has been folded as mailed and is evenly aged. Exc. Double-sided 2-1/8x3.75" membership card for "The Tarzan Radio Club" has more refined logo/seal image w/same "Drink More Milk" text. Typed member name on provided line. Bottom noted "Radio Station WBNS" of Columbus, OH. Reverse has club pledge and has been signed in pencil by member. Scattered dust soiling and lt. handling wear. Fine/VF. Both letter and card are even rarer than the above mentioned premiums, both are the first we've offered in our 49 years.
