Item Description
Companion watch to previous item #2027. 2.75x5x1" deep plastic box w/hinged lid contains watch w/1x1.25" chromed metal case. Both top and inside of lid originally featured design including image of Mary Marvel in flight. As is typical, design on top of lid shows wear, w/tip of Mary's hand, her waist, leg and part of other leg missing. Image on underside remains complete and is Exc. Case exterior is Fine. Complete w/flocked insert. Blue vinyl-covered leather bands has original foil tag around upper band lists original purchase price of "$7.95" as well as listing "Mary Marvel" name. Complete w/"Tested And Commended By Parents' Magazine" string tag. Dial features full figure image of Mary Marvel w/"Mary Marvel" name. Comes w/original "Marvel Importing Corporation" guarantee paper which shows some scattered aging but is VF overall. Case retains much bright luster and dial remains totally bright and clean. Luminous material on numerals and hands still glow. Crystal has yellowed slightly w/age and shows trace wear. Watch works. VF/Exc. Old store stock.
