Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 3.5x9x2" deep hard plastic coffin w/raised vampire bat and 12 holes in lid. 13 included 1-7/8" tall glow-in-the-dark plastic crucifixes are to be inserted into holes, a seemingly random hole serving as trigger that causes coffin lid to pop up w/loud noise, revealing Dracula's glow-in-the-dark face within. Game can then be reset by pulling out tab at coffin base. Made in Japan for the Japanese market by Nomura, 1970s. Box comes w/original Styrofoam insert and Japanese text instruction sheet. Lid shows scattered wear w/edge/corner creases and lid has .75x1.5" area of surface paper lift on one end panel from sticker removal. Fine. Game has "Coffin Shock Game - It's Mysterious Party With Dracula!" stickers on each side. NM. Wonderfully designed game. Comes w/12 Dracula ornaments, all same design and 4-1/8" tall. Felt and paper-covered Styrofoam bodies w/wooden stick noses/teeth and pipe cleaner ears. Hard plastic top hat and hand string w/"Made In Japan" text. 1960s. Ornaments show lt. aging but are VF-Exc. overall.
