3.75x6.75x.75" deep box contains pocket watch similar to #1677 although this is slightly smaller case at 1-7/8" and has short stem. O/w dial and design on back of case is the same. This boxed pocket watch is c. 1937-38. Moderate box wear with color/surface paper rubs along extreme edges, lid has some scattered age spotting. Box still tight, Fine. Has insert with three die-cut slots at Mickey's raised hand to accomodate the leather fob strap and this insert differs in design from the following pocket watch item #1679. One of the die-cut openings has a small tear that has been neatly re-glued. Other light wear on the die-cut tabs that hold the pieces in place but insert remains totally bright and clean. VF. Also included are warranty folder and small paper noting insert could be used as a display stand. Pocket watch itself has only tiniest traces of wear to the surface of the metal case. Noticeable only when viewed closely and retains near full bright luster. Dial is exceptionally bright and clean. Running. Case Exc. with N. Mint dial. Fob differs from previous item #1677. This is 1-3/8" dia. chromed metal with incised image of Mickey that has near complete red and black paint accents. Complete with black leather strap. Rarely found this nice, N. Mint.
