Item Description
4.5x6" waxed paper for series issued 1941-42. ACC# R164. This was the last great gum card series to be issued in the US before the war effort cut off all supplies of essential materials. Wrappers were produced in two distinct styles, maps of war zones and w/image of a charging infantryman. Those with the infantryman also come in bkg. color varieties and this is lt. green. Moderate wear/aging. Neat glue repair to 1" tears on right margin. Few tiny pin holes. Image remains bold and strong. VG. Scarce. The New England Non-Sports Card Collection.
