Item Description
The same 84 card set was issued in 1970 by both Fleer (see full wax box #2588) as well as various bakeries. This lot includes a full set of 2.5x3.5" cards, all are variety issued by Rainbo Bread w/their imprint on the "Tombstone" card backs. Fronts are full color w/nice art and feature the typical off-beat and unusual facts/topics that Ripley is famous for such as "First Lady Kidnapped By A Orangutan" and "Skeleton That Ruled The Roman Empire." Cards have trace of age tone to backs. Still a clean and NM to Mint set. The unopened wax pack is the Fleer issue. GAI NM-MT+ 8.5. Lot also comes w/a Fleer wrapper. The New England Non-Sports Card Collection.
