Item Description
8x10x1" deep empty box for cards issued in 1944 (see uncut sheets #2494-2495). Unlike the beautifully illustrated cards, the box has a simple design w/text in red/blue on lid and front side panel which reads "American Beauties 12 Pictures 5¢ Per Set." Box has obvious aging w/scattered moisture spotting. Lid has two corner splits. Box bottom remains tight. VG. A rarity in non-sports display boxes. The New England Non-Sports Card Collection.
