Item Description
Original plain cardboard shipping carton contains 36x56.75" die-cut heavy cardboard standee for 1971 American Continental Films Inc. release of the 1970 Hammer Films - "Scars Of Dracula" starring Christopher Lee and "The Horror Of Frankenstein" starring David Prowse (who played Darth Vader in the original "Star Wars" trilogy). Standee was made by National Screen Service Corp. and was designed to have pole inserted at back through four attached die-cut panels. Due to size of shipping carton, it appears as if this display pole was not included w/shipment. Shipping carton shows obvious wear and has partial mailing label. VG. Standee features text at top reading "The Blood-Brothers Of Horror And Terror! Together In The Most Terrifying Monster And Shock Show Of The Year! All New! Never Before Seen!" and includes image of Lee as Dracula and Prowse as Frankenstein's Monster. Comprised of four sections attached w/tape on reverse so that display has three horizontal folds. Standee's left/right die-cut edges show moderate to heavy wear w/separation of surface paper and creasing. Display has some scattered color rubs. VG overall, but main section of display retains a nice appearance and would frame for VF display. See gum card sheet featuring images from Hammer films, #2594.
