Item Description
7.5x7.5x3.25" deep illustrated cardboard box contains complete and unused set by Ohio Art, 1930s. Box is missing top flap/lid but has insert that holds the five-piece tin litho set. Two side panels feature different images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse w/sand set. Box shows heavy wear w/one corner having been reinforced w/tape. Good/VG overall. Small size sand pail is 2-7/8" tall (4-3/8" to top of raised handle) and depicts Mickey running a beverage stand while trying to get the attention of Minnie and Clarabelle Cow as Pluto licks a pitcher. Comes w/7" long tin litho shovel that has image of Mickey diving into large wave as Minnie watches from beach. The other generic (as issued) pieces are three different sand molds. Tiny paint marks as produced but set remains unused and Exc./NM, old store stock. Rare set as boxed. We have sold this set twice before (w/complete box), both times sales exceeded $2,000.
