Item Description
3" tall white china mug w/full color wraparound image w/accent trim on rim/handle. Underside text includes Salem China's "S.C. Co. - Patriot China" trademark. 1930s. Mug depicts The Three Little Pigs playing and singing the song "Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf" as they dance atop a rug made from the Big Bad Wolf's body. Scattered lt. wear w/vertical hairline craze line at each Pig. VF overall. Comes w/1930s Chein tin litho "Three Little Pigs Bank" in the shape of a house and featuring image of Pigs crowded behind door under "Blackie Pig" name as Big Bad Wolf huffs and puffs. This image is repeated front/back. Unauthorized, but no doubt inspired by the Disney cartoon. Complete trap on underside and bank comes w/key. Scattered wear in the form of small paint nicks/scratches along roof peak/corners. Fine/VF.
