Auction #187 - Part II
Item numbers 927 through 2489 in auction 187
Item Description
Lot of three 6" tall tin litho toys all 1950s. Two are "Donald Duck Drummer." While toys are identical, one is marked "Marx" under the drum while the other is marked "Line Mar." Marx toy comes with the original box which has totally different artwork from the Line Mar box. Box has moderate scattered wear with edge creases. One inner flap loose but here. VG/Fine. Both toys are complete with keys and work, however, Line Mar toy is missing the on/off switch. Both have scattered pinpoint paint nicks, Line Mar toy has .25" spot of bare metal on the drum head. Both remain glossy, VF. Third toy is Donald the Skier by Line Mar. Has ski poles but missing skis. All over obvious wear, on/off switch is bent so toy no longer works. Overall just good but rare.
