Auction #187 - Part II
Item numbers 927 through 2489 in auction 187
Item Description
7.5" doll comes with box nicely illustrated on all sides. 1940. Box has edge wear with some light creases, corner dent, top edge of lid has 3" split. Box remains clean and tight. Fine. Box is rare. Doll has wood jointed body, head is composition, complete with oilcloth collar and felt bow tie. Chest decal has some tiny scattered edge flakes but 95% complete. The hat band accent tape strip which is typically missing has some small traces of color loss/flakes but remains largely intact. Face has some very faint craze lines, tiny 1/8" fleshtone paint flake, back edge of head has .25" split in the compo. However, overall much nicer than normally found, bright and clean appearance. VF.
