Item Description
Pair of tin litho shovels made in Spain, marked "Imp. Lujo A Metalico." 1940s. Both feature 3.75x5 thin litho shovel heads w/13" long wooden rod handles. One shovel head shows Pinocchio sitting beside candle w/kitten. Of note, Pinocchio raises his hand, showing one of his fingers is on fire. Shovel has some scattered oxidation to sides and shows scattered wear from use and slight bend. VG/Fine. Second shovel shows Pinocchio as Donkey Boy w/Jiminy Cricket. Left side of shovel head has moderate oxidation and rest of shovel shows scattered wear. VG. Scarce.
