Item Description
6x8" cello w/metal back and easel. Features portraits of Soviet Union leaders c. 1930 including: General Secretary Of The Central Committee Joseph Stalin, Chairman of the Central Executive Committee Mikhail Kalinin, People's Commissar For Defense Kliment Voroshilvo and Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars Vyacheslav Molotov. At center is larger portrait of Lenin and additional text includes "1917" at top and "1930" at bottom. Light brown edge staining at top right corner, along base and along the lower 4.75" on each side. This does not affect the portraits and the cello is structurally sound. Fine. First we have encountered in five decades. Rare.
