Item Description
Complete pair, each 9x11". Included are Spring/Summer catalog for 1938 and 1942, when Ohio Art's primary products were sand pails and sand toys. 1938 catalog has four pages and features seven Disney sand pails, two Disney sand shovels, three sand sets, four sprinkling cans and Mickey Mouse sand sieve. Characters featured include Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck, Goofy, Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar. Scattered margin wear and pinch creases to spine. Fine. 1942 catalog has eight pages and features seven Donald Duck sand pails as well as two Donald sand shovels (a pail and shovel being featured on cover) as well as a single Donald sprinkling can. Scattered handling wear/dust soiling. Fine/VF. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection and these are actual examples shown in their book "Comic Character Metal Sand Toys."
