Item Description
Like the "AAA" collection that follows, this collection was assembled by thousands of hours searching for items at shows and flea markets. The 49 pieces are largely buttons with most 7/8" up to 1.75". There are six enamel pieces and the largest item is a 4" litho tin attachment for a car (two tiny holes on side edges for wires) picturing the 1920 Illinois candidate "Len Small/ Good Roads Governor". The rarity from 1907 "Road Makers Congress" in Pittsburgh has fabric nick off one ribbon with small archival tape repair on back to keep fabric from splitting. Otherwise only six of the smaller 7/8-1" buttons have small stain traces. Many states are represented  including: PA, OH, IN, NY, CO, WI, CT, UT, and CA. Vast majority are Exc. to  Mint.
