Item Description
First is 11/16" very well made silvered brass pin with elaborate design showing ships and equipment plus eagle encompassed in slogan "We Keep Them Fit To Fight/Pearl Harbor Navy Yard." Reverse has metal back naming maker Metal Arts Co., Rochester plus horizontal pin. A scarce WWII vintage item. Next, more frequently seen as a 1.25" celluloid is a very scarce 1" litho with hand rising from the ocean holding a letter "V" to symbolize Victory but part of the button slogan "Avenge Manila!" Next is heavy 2" tall multi-layered white metal badge which has a hinged closure on the back consisting of a pair of 1" very pointed prongs. Back also reads "Patent Pend." Front of the piece is covered in rhinestones and the full slogan is "Women United/USA." First we've seen. Next is large 3.5" button reading "To Hell With Hitler." The cardboard reverse which holds the bar pin was inserted so that the pin is much more on a vertical rather than horizontal plane. Celluloid has single pinpoint black dot by the word "To" but this is as printed and all four items are NM displaying Mint.
