Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 10.25x22x5.75" tall plastic-encased bagatelle game produced by Marx for sale in Sears stores as box bears "Sears" brand name. ©1966 MGM. Box shows obvious wear to one end, w/3.5x6.5" piece missing from one end flap and 5.5" tear to other flap. This end also has some tape staining/remnants. Rest of box remains tight and aside from lt. even aging and faint spot of moisture staining, box remains Fine for display. Bagatelle features wonderful design w/back portion having separate plastic segmented "Secret Code Wheel" that contains a number of small plastic charms (most are generic in nature, but also includes at least two guns) and small "Loading Door" and "Prize Door" that would open upon getting three of the included 11 glass marbles into the three "Code Key" channels. Tin litho playing field features great graphics that include images of Napoleon Solo, Illya Kuryakin, Waverly and Thrush villains. Complete w/separate removable plastic marble stopper, four plastic legs for bagatelle, original packing inspection slip and plastic bags. "Loading Door" has had glue repair to .25" corner crack, but o/w game remains VF/Exc. Rare. Tesco Vee Collection.
