Item Description
1-1/8" beautiful color litho button offered to comic book readers in May, 1942. The majority of these buttons have the design slightly off center but this one is probably centered as perfectly as any of the dozen or so we've seen over five decades. In addition, the paint is with full gloss and about as near as to 100% complete as possible. The button has no significant wear or imperfections to the naked eye although under magnification there are traces of surface wear. We had an example in Auction #212 we deemed among the best two or three we've seen and this is certainly of equal rank. NM displaying Mint.
