Item Description
Original cardboard shipping container contains plain white cardboard box containing large 40" tall doll that has stuffed cloth body and hard vinyl head, hands and shoes. Very nice quality and design depicting Pee Wee in his trademark suit and bow tie. Carousel. ©1989 Herman Toys Inc. This was a J.C. Penney exclusive limited edition which was to have been a production run of only 2,000 but it is widely believed that the final number produced was a substantially lower amount of just 1,000. Comes w/8x10" COA that includes Pee Wee character illustrations and has been hand-numbered 111/2000. This edition number also matches hand-numbered area on back of doll's neck. Shipping container also bears matching hand-inked edition number and shows wear to end flaps, which have some clear tape at edges. One end flap has surface paper separation. Fine overall. Inner box is totally unmarked w/exception of "Limited Edition 40" Pee-Wee Herman Doll" bw sticker on end panel. Box shows some lt. handling wear/aging but is VF overall. Doll has some minor scattered aging to white shirt but o/w NM w/original plastic wraps over head and hands. Quite impressive due to its large size.
