Item Description
27x41" one-sheet for the 1954 re-release of the 1949 Columbia Pictures serial. This is for Chapter 15, "The Doom Of The Rising Sun." Features inset movie scene showing Lewis Wilson as Bruce Wayne w/Douglas Croft as Dick Grayson and Shirley Patterson as Linda Page. This image is depicted as being held by Batman w/large image of Batman swooping down on criminals at bottom w/Robin in bkg., plus photo images of stars and art image of Batplane in bkg. Poster has been folded as issued and has pin holes at corners w/strip of aged tape at top center margin. Fold crease intersections show some scattered wear w/archival tape repairs to small tears on reverse. If matted and framed, poster would display VF.
