Item Description
12x13x.75" deep chipboard box has edge is stamped "1 Doz. Shmoo Rings." Box remains tight and Exc. Box contains die-cut cardboard standee w/delightful pirate graphics of Shmoos looking into treasure chest. "Al Capp - ©UFS" text at bottom right. c. 1950. Bottom left reads "Manufactured And Distributed By Jarco Metal Products Co. New York." Stamped "Gold Plated" text appears on chest lid. Standee has unused easel stand on reverse. Left margin has .5" and .75" vertical creases at die-cut edge, barely noticeable. Standee also has some scattered small age spotting but is o/w bright, glossy and VF, contains complete amount of 12 metal rings w/adjustable bands featuring 5/8" tall embossed figure of Shmoo on front w/smaller Shmoos on each side. Inside adjustable band reads "Lucky Ring." Rings are NM/Mint as issued. Rare and impressive display. Barry Lutsky Collection.
