Item Description
8-5/8x12.5x3.75" deep lidded box contains 16.5" wide by 24" tall vinyl bag w/stuffed Shmoo figure at top w/vinyl carry handle and zippered side of bag that looks like apron. Stuffed Shmoo has original fabric bow around neck as well as original string tag noting bag as "A Trixy Creation." © UFS, c. 1948. Box lid features illustrations of Li'l Abner and Daisy Mae as well as large image of bag and image of male and female Shmoos. Lid has slight inward warp, color rubs as well as streak of moisture staining. Corner creases w/.5" split at lower left corner. Box bottom has 1.5x2" area of surface paper missing. VG. Box features text noting bag's use "As A Nursery Bag" or "To Store Away Baby's Toys." Bag is NM. Tag is aged but Exc. overall. Old store stock. One of the nicest pieces of Shmoo merchandise produced. Very rare and the first we've offered in our 49 years. Barry Lutsky Collection.
