Item Description
Lot of three heavy cast brass ashtrays, each w/raised or incised swastika design in ashtray area. Each ashtray features 2.25" to 2.5" tall brass figurine replica of famed Brussels landmark Manneken Pis, a small bronze fountain sculpture depicting a naked little boy urinating into the fountain's basin put in place in 1618/1619. Figures are separate and attached to ashtrays via bolt/screw on undersides. Likely produced by Resistance groups and made using scarce brass, another effort to hinder the German war effort. Scattered aging/dust soiling. Ashtrays show some wear from use but are overall Fine-VF. See Hitler face variety #923.
