Item Description
1.75" tall very heavy metal badge issued in 1958 offered in Britain as a premium from Shredded Wheat. The cereal was named Shredded Wheat Cubs and the entire premium consisted of a envelope holding a special message pencil, decoder disk, Morse code flasher, magnifying glass and several other items but the main feature is this badge which includes eyeball accented by wings, the club name "Cubs Detective Squad" and "Peto Veritatem" (seek truth). Some loss of silver flashing and reverse has lightly penciled on club initials "CDS." Badge comes with a pair of small photocopies which show the cereal box and the contents of the Detective Kit.
