Item Description
6.5" long w/ornate brass topper. Torch at center. Morris Hillquit ran an anti-war campaign for the "4th Assembly Dist." and garnered more than 100,000 votes. Jacob Panken was elected to a ten year term as judge "Municipal Court 2nd District" the first Socialist to do so in New York City. William Karlin was elected to the "Assembly" representing the 4th District. Also listed at bottom is "For Alderman 2nd Dist. S. P. Kramer." Horizontal narrow partial split across top of ribbon and scattered surface rubs. VG. An incredible Socialist third party local item that is the first we have seen in our 49 years.
