Item Description
9x9.5x2-5/8" deep illustrated cardboard window box designed like house contains Hasbro set No. 2000. This is from 1952, this first year of issue for this set. Box design features small images of various vegetables w/faces made using contents of this set, which includes hard plastic body and multiple accessory pieces for Mr. Potato Head, who is depicted within box assembled w/Styrofoam insert instead of actual potato as intended. Box shows some scattered handling wear and dust soiling, but all three windows remain free of any splits/tears and are firmly affixed. Fine overall. Contents are mostly complete, missing just one of three lips and pair of felt eyelashes. Pieces exhibit some lt. aging but are o/w Exc. Early set of this classic toy.
