Item Description
Complete 6x8" group of stamps although perforations have split into two panels of two stamps each and two panels of six stamps each. Exc. graphics with numerous references to Pearl Harbor and Lidice along with anti-axis slogans, pleas to help refugees and orphans and the first stamp is inscribed "Forced Labor Is Inhuman." Full text along the bottom margin reads "Published By The Czechoslovak Relief Central Committee To Commemorate The Dedication Of American 'Lidice' For The Benefit Of Victims Of Nazi Brutality...Created By Macha Studio." Likely issued very shortly after Pearl Harbor. VF. Ted Watts Collection.
