Item Description
7x9.25" stiff card has mounted oval photo 5.25x7-3/8". Known as the five dollar bill pose, image was taken by Anthony Berger at Matthew Brady's studio in Washington on February 9, 1864. Card mount reads "Brady & Co., Entered According To Act Of Congress, By Brady & Co., In The Year 1865, In Clerk's Office Of District Court For District Of Columbia. Washington." Photo right of image has .75" dia. area with tiny spots. Card has .5x1" darker mark around bottom right text and bottom edge of card has .25" deep by 3.5" long darker mark. Card edges were trimmed slightly to fit a frame long ago. A classic Lincoln photo. Overall Fine.
