Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 8.5" tall tin litho toy w/built-in key. Unique Art Manufacturing Co., Inc., 1940s. Box is complete w/insert and shows scattered wear w/one inner flap loose (but included). Box has some creasing and scattered tears w/tape repairs. One end flap has tape reinforcement and tape repair to edge flap. Box is VG overall but still nice for display. Box is scarce. Toy works and travels in a circle as boy moves handlebars to reverse direction, and boy pedals the cycle as bell rings. Nicely detailed including images on the wheels of children, animals, gnome, etc. Boy's legs have moderate scattered wear in the form of small nicks/scratches and he has 1/8" mark on cheek. Appearance remains glossy and Fine.
