7/8" w/W&H backpaper. Features stylized pine tree at center w/text "The New Spirit." Circumference reads "International Exhibition Of Modern Art New York 1913." Produced to promote the first exhibition of modern art in American. The Armory Show featured works by such luminaries as Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Paul Gaugin, Marcel Duchamp, Wassily Kandinsky and more. The event, which also traveled to Chicago and Boston, is often regarded as the most important art exhibition on American soil. NM displaying Mint. Only the second we have offered in 50 years.
