Item Description
1.25" with very tanned back paper by Western Badge. Reverse cello has .5" hairline split along the collet but laying perfectly flat. There is no distortion of the rim edge although the button does have light tan stain primarily on the upper half. George Wagner established this company as an offshoot of the former Wagner Bicycle Company. 8,500 motorcycles were produced and it was one of the first to position the engine low down at a time when most companies were using the design of  high engines such as those on Indian motorcycles. The design of the back paper makes it very likely this button was issued between 1901 and 1902. Rare. Still with full gloss. VG.
