Item Description
1.25" from small series depicting movie cowboys issued by Freihoffer bakeries in Reading, Pa. Button features his facsimile signature and has rim text "For Democracy 100%." We've seen a few of these with a back paper that reads "Freihoffer's/The Perfect Loaf/©1942/Jay-Gee/Enterprises/Reading, Pa." However, that paper is not present on this example and it is usually not seen on the other examples which include cowboys such as Roy Rogers, Charles Starrett, Bill Elliott and Gene Autry. This Hoppy is one of only four examples we've offered in our 49 years. Some normal oxidation spotting on the tin reverse but the celluloid is essentially Mint. Rare.
