Item Description
1.25" with blank back paper but with curl naming maker W&H. This is a rare souvenir button from the 1904 Middle West Tennis Tournament at Omaha, with the full title slightly condensed on the souvenir button. The championship singles match at this event was between the players Eberhardt and Fletcher. Button has .75" length of light stain on upper left rim between 10-12 and a very faint mark on lower right at 5 o'clock. Vast majority is clean and glossy. Fine. A rare and possibly first ever tennis tournament pin-back.
