Item Description
13" tall, 9.5" from fingertip to fingertip. 1920s. Has had professional repair to break at neck, but this is only noticeable upon close inspection. This figure was also produced in composition w/"Felix" name on chest, but this plaster version does not feature name. Original tail remains intact. Displays VF. In 1928, a figure of this style was placed on a turntable to be used as a test shot for the first RCA television camera. The camera technicians made their adjustments for one of the earliest television broadcasts some months later. Great design and a beautiful figural Felix piece. Eric Renner Collection.
