Item Description
4" dia. cardboard code wheel issued by DC Comics as part of club kit premium. First version issued 1942-1944. Front features Secret Code and has provided lines for owner's name/address (faint remnants remain). Reverse has instructions and small die-cut window where JSA members' names are visible. These include - Superman, Hawkman, Johnny Thunder, Sandman, Dr. Midnite, The Spectre, Starman, Dr. Fate, The Atom, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Batman. Couple of creases on backing disc edge. Some oxidation on center rivet. VF. 2x2.5" nice quality embroidered fabric patch is one of two slightly different versions issued by DC Comics. This is the second version used beginning in 1945. Similar to 1942-1944 patch, but shield image is .5" larger. Slight aging but o/w choice, Exc. condition. Scarce.
