Kit No. 461-98. ©1963 Universal Pictures Co., Inc. This is an original issue box. Production of the original issue of the Hunchback box was halted in 1965 after objections were raised by actor Anthony Quinn, who complained the box art bore a definite likeness to his portrayal of the character in the 1956 film. The art was replaced w/modified art featuring the Hunchback w/shaggier hair. Kit is complete w/original instructions and unused ad slick/order form for "Famous Monsters Of Filmland" magazine. Box has some lt. handling wear, but remains tight and VF overall. Model is unused w/some parts still attached to sprues. NM/Mint. Original instructions are lightly aged. VF.
