Item Description
Each piece is about 1-7/8" in diameter. The first holds a celluloid insert with high relief cameo portrait of a woman. This was offered by Lux soap in 1940 available for 15¢ and two soap wrappers offered under the name "Scarlett's Cameo Broach." Brass rim has about 98% luster and overall NM. Second is a muted brass luster metal disk with numerous circular designs around a raised center holding five simulated pearls and with a larger turquoise colored stone at the center. The pearls do not have much luster remaining and are more a smoky-white rather than glossy pearl color but otherwise condition is Exc. This was offered as a Gone With The Wind brooch by Lux between 1940 and 1942. It was acquired by sending 15 cents and the opening tab from a large box of Lux soap. Scarce.
