Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 8.25" long nicely designed tin litho car w/opening doors. Made in Japan by Frankonia/Haji, ©1965. Box lid design features main panel design showing convertible and sides are illustrated w/50 US states, District of Columbia and 11 Canadian province license plates that were meant to be cut out. Box remains uncut and free of any splits but shows scattered wear w/lid creases and dust soiling. Fine/VF. Car features nicely detailed tin litho interior w/separate plastic steering wheel. Plated bumpers, front bumper has slot to hold cardboard license plate cut out from lid. NM w/working friction.
