Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 10" long nicely designed tin litho car. Made in Japan by Marusan, 1956. Box shows even aging and some scattered wear w/.75" puncture to main lid panel. Box still displays Fine overall. Nicely detailed tin litho interior w/rubber tires w/faux tin litho spoke hubcaps, plated Mercedes grille and windshield frame. Another plated accent piece is lighted spotlight at right that has red and green lenses. Figural tin litho driver from waist up w/separate head as well and separate tin litho steering wheel. Manually operated front steering. Working functions include stop-and-go forward/reverse action w/red/green lenses blinking in sequence. Some scattered wear in the form of small paint nicks/scratches. VF overall. Neat design.
