Item Description
Wonderfully designed and executed 10.25" long tin car in the style of late 1940s American cars. Made in Bologna, Italy by Agostino Marchesini, 1948. Chrome-plated body/hubcaps w/copper-plated bumpers, tonneau boot and center of trunk's wheel. Original thin plastic windshield. Painted tin steering wheel/dash (w/printed foil inserts of speedometer and clock), seat, wheels and underside. Comes w/original key and works, traveling forward. Manually adjustable front wheels. Opening trunk contains two removable painted tin gas cans w/brass screw caps. These are almost always missing. Car still has much bright chrome luster, w/some scattered aging/wear. VF overall.
