Item Description
5x6.5" display card for vending machine use w/three die-cut spots to hold rings. This is one of two different vending cards, this example features Jack Kirby art at top of card (including Red Skull) whereas other version features art at bottom, does not feature Red Skull (being replaced w/blank circle to add price) and held four rings and was for store display instead of vending machine. Card features Thor, Sub-Mariner, Iron Man, Invisible Girl, Incredible Hulk, Captain America, Human Torch, Doctor Strange, Thing and Spider-Man w/portrait images of Spider-Man, Captain America and Doctor Doom joined Red Skull at bottom. ©1966 Marvel Comics Group. Both card varieties are rare but the example we are offering is the rarer and more desirable of the two. NM. Three rings (Captain America and two Thing rings) are included and all are original thin gold base variety w/square corners. See ring sets, following items #2140-2141.
