8x11" mailing envelope w/E.C. Comics logo and "Go MAD! Join The E.C. Fan-Addict Club" stamp. Usual mailing wear. VF. 8.5x11" newsletters #3 (June 1954) and #4 (Sept. 1954) w/first including mention of anti-comics sentiment and urges reader to write The Senate Subcommittee on Juvenile Delinquency w/second newsletter noting cancellation of horror titles "Tales From The Crypt, The Vault Of Horror, The Haunt Of Fear, Crime SuspenStories" and "Shock SuspenStories" due to crusade against comics. Also notes addition of five new, non-horror titles. Folded as issued. Exc. 7.5x10.5" membership certificate has art border featuring E.C. logo as well as The Crypt-Keeper, The Vault-Keeper and The Old Witch. Certificate unused and has issue number "13463." NM. Membership card is also unused and has matching number. Card is variety w/rounded corners. Kit also comes w/3" dia. embroidered patch w/E.C. logo and "MAD Member E.C. Fan-Addict Club" text. Tiny dot impression but o/w unused and NM. 5/8x.75" brass "E.C. Fan-Addict" pin has nice aged patina and is NM. Rare as complete.
