Item Description
12x14x2.75" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains set issued by Monarch Leather Goods Co. 1950s. Box lid has partial corner split and dent along right side, but retains its shape and is Fine overall. Set consists of 30.5" leather belt w/metal horsehead/horseshoe buckle and leather bullet loops containing complete amount of six plastic bullets. Belt has metal stud accents matching those on attached 10" deep holster pockets, which have leather straps w/Western metal buckles w/leather gimps at bottoms. All appears unused and Exc. Holsters contain 9.5" long plated die-cast cap guns w/raised "Wild Bill Hickok" name on gun frame w/high relief images of rearing horse, horseshoes and scrollwork. Copper steerhead grips have raised "Marshal - Wild Bill Hickok" name. These grips are rare. Both have moderate pitting/corrosion at trigger area and inside; one does not fire unless cocked and other has residue inside cap chamber area. Despite these issues, both still display Fine.
